Upon replacement remember that:
- Holset models HX40V and HY40V are not directly replaceable. An adapter kit from IVECO is necessary.
- Turbos with MFS (machined from solid) compressor wheels are machined from aluminium blocks and are designed for highly demanding and tired applications, especially city buses.
- Never ever exchange similar turbos with different applicationswor, since it will produce the rupture of the compressor wheel.
For all these turbos, only the following parts are available: repair kits, adapters with washers, gaskets, speed sensor kit, seal of the nozzle rim and v clamp.
